Cycling routes in Surrey with the TFB
This bank holiday weekend saw Ines and Chris from VIS-a-VIDEO head off to Poole in Dorest to filming a wedding at the Italian Villa , I on the other hand stayed back in the office and carried on working on the new web site and manning the telephones for any inquires.
Luckily I managed to grab a few hours and head out on my mountain bike to explore a few more of the lovely lanes we have to offer around Tadworth.
The route I took this time was to exit Tadworth out via the Epsom Race Course up Langley Vale into the back end of Headley via their Golf Course and then head down hill to Leatherhead.
Cross over the busy dual carriageway and cut into the back of Leatherhead, over the stream and head out towards Bocketts Farm, follow the bridal way and then go straight over at the junction towards Polesden Lacey House.
Follow the bridal way and eventually you end up on a tarmac road towards Westhumble and then its across to Rykers and start the long slog up to Box hill to the National Trust coffee shop at the top, as I say long slog – on a road bike probably 6 – 9 minutes on a mountain bike with fat tyres at least double if not treble that
