A rather cold day for this ride, but another great route selected by the Gannet , this time a route over his way and lunch provided by my Mum. It was my last ride before my ankle op which I had last night. I was very fortunate to have one of the best ankle surgeons on duty and a big thanks to Dominic Nielsen who stayed on late to perform the ankle operation.
Fingers crossed I will be back on the road and training within 4 – 6 weeks , but I keep you posted. Post recovery will be at home where my wife will look after me while busy running her busy as the creative director ofVis-à-Video
